Ten-year-old Colin began (with Dad's assistance) building bird feeders three years ago. All of the feeders are built of western red cedar. It began with the basic box feeder - a simple design, but really attracts the birds. The bird feeders are ready to hang from your eave, tree or hanger, and cost $20.00 (add 10% for clear-coat finish). |
| Colin's second design was the log cabin feeder. It was originally designed for a 4-H project and has received rave comments. The bird feeder is meant to be mounted on a deck rail or atop a pole, and costs $75.00 (add 10% for clear-coat finish). Additional options include $7.00 for a 1-1/4" threaded mounting plate, and $4.00 per foot for 1-1/4" threaded pipe painted white, green or black. |
